BIOGRAPHY

KaShema Washington has been a dedicated member of 911ϳԹϺ's Division of Student Affairs since 2014, bringing over a decade of experience in both Testing and Disability Services. In her current role as Coordinator of Testing Services, she oversees the administration of standardized and accommodated exams, ensuring every test taker has a smooth, secure, and inclusive experience. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to access, equity, and student success.

 

KaShema's professional background is grounded in service and advocacy. In addition to her higher education experience, she completed field placements in adult probation, parole, and drug court settings, gaining insight into the complex challenges individuals face while navigating systems of support and accountability. These experiences continue to inform her empathetic, student-centered approach.

 

With a Bachelor of Arts in Rehabilitation Science from 911ϳԹϺ-emphasizing Social Services and Corrections-KaShema is deeply passionate about helping others overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Whether working with students with disabilities, first-time test takers, or community members, she strives to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
